Benefits/HR
Gap Insurance guidance and I-9 correction workflows
With this update, Benefits Guidance will be able to provide employees with personalized guidance on Gap benefit plans. To support this functionality, a new Benefit Category assignment has been added (Gap). System administrators will need to assign the appropriate benefit category to each applicable System Benefit Type so that the Plan Detail tab is enabled and plans integrate correctly with Benefits Guidance. The benefit type will show in the Benefit Guidance recommendation, with a “Recommended” tag if applicable.
- Recommendation eligibility: Gap Insurance is a derived recommendation and is shown only when an accident, hospital indemnity, or critical illness plan is also recommended. Eligibility also depends on affordability relative to household income.
- Required plan values: the Plan Details tab requires whole-number entries for the Individual Maximum Benefit Amount and Family Maximum Benefit Amount — the per-person and family maximums per benefit period. Administrators should enter 0 when a tier has no maximum.
Employers can now request corrections to specific Form I-9 Section 1 fields directly within the system. Employees are notified through email and a to-do item, allowing them to review and submit requested updates. All corrections are tracked in the audit trail, including who made the changes, and HR can approve updates or request additional corrections as needed.
Additional enhancements include new I-9 dashboard tiles to help track each correction status throughout the process.
- No separate workflow setup is required to use this feature.
- Employees must be granted access to the Employee I-9 screens in ESS or Employee Workspace.

Identity
OIDC SSO support and Passkey Required removal
OpenID Connect (OIDC) is now available as a supported Single Sign-On (SSO) connector type alongside Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for both client-level and admin-level SSO configurations. Setup pages now support standard OIDC configuration fields, with key values automatically populated from the identity provider's discovery URL to simplify setup.
To reflect the expanded functionality, the setup pages have been renamed:
- SAML Connector Setup → Client Connector Setup
- Admin SSO Connector Setup updated to support both SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC) configurations
References on user setup pages have also been updated to show “SSO” instead of SAML now that there is more than one option. The overall functionality of these screens remains unchanged.
To help users regain access when they've lost or no longer have access to a required passkey, service bureau administrators can now remove the Passkey Required setting from a user's account in Admin User Manager. After the requirement is removed, the user can sign in using their standard credentials while any previously configured passkeys remain available for optional use.
- This option only removes the Passkey Required setting and cannot be used to re-enable it.
- This enhancement does not impact Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) settings at the Client or ESS levels.
- Applies only to users who previously chose to require a passkey for their own account — the Remove Requirement button does not appear on the tab at all for users who didn't select the option.

Bank Reconciliation Auto Match controls
The Auto Match function in Bank Reconciliation now provides additional control over matching criteria. Before Auto Match runs, users will be prompted to select whether Date and Company ID should be included in the matching process. Amount remains a required matching criterion.
This enhancement helps reduce false matches and gives users greater flexibility when reconciling transactions. See the Release Summary for additional updates related to the Bank Reconciliation area.

Release 9/16/26
The Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability (CC-305) form has been updated to reflect the new OMB expiration date of July 31, 2029. Applicants will automatically see the updated form in the ATS when Disability Questions and EEO/Voluntary Disclosure settings are enabled. No action is required.
HCM Form Note: this form also exists in HCM under Employee Self Service > Federal Reporting Data > Disability Self-Identification. The expiration date update is still planned for release on the form in this area as well.
Release 9/23/26
This release introduces two complementary tools that make it easier to review and share applications.
- View Application replaces the existing Print Application option in the Job Listings action menu. Available to the same manager and admin roles that previously had access to Print Application, it lets users generate a shareable, read-only preview link or send a PDF copy of the application by email.
- Preview Application is a new Admin-only tool available from the top-bar kebab menu under Tools. It provides a centralized location to preview any application setup by job, enabling teams to review the full applicant experience without creating test applicants that can impact reporting. This is especially valuable for organizations that need HR team members, stakeholders, legal reviewers, or compliance teams to review the full online application experience — since application workflows often include interactive elements, conditional logic, and dynamic question paths, the preview link provides a more accurate representation of the candidate experience than a static PDF alone.
Release 9/30/26
We're introducing a redesigned applicant account creation and login experience to help candidates get started faster and reduce application drop-off. Applicants can now create an account using either an email address or phone number, with returning applicants recognized automatically and guided to the appropriate login option.
Key improvements include:
- Account creation with email or phone number
- Streamlined sign-in using a one-time password (OTP) or existing credentials
- Enhanced consent and verification screens
- Support for international phone numbers
- New connected accounts functionality, allowing applicants to link multiple applicant profiles and view associated applications from a single career site account
